Allman Brother guitarist Dickey Betts cancels Tour
According to the Dickey Betts website the former Allman Brothers guitarist has cancelled upcoming live performances after health concerns. He was scheduled to perform August 28 at the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse, NY. He has been advised to give himself time to recuperate. The doctors are describing what he experienced as a mild stroke. The doctors believe that after three to five weeks he will be recovered and can resume the tour schedule.
